The Yale Camerata Chamber Chorus, under the direction of Marguerite L. Brooks, Yale Institute of Sacred Music, will perform a concert of sacred vocal and instrumental music. The concert will feature the world-premiere of a sacred choral composition, "Tree of Life", commissioned by Palladium Musicum, Inc. on the Burne-Jones mosaics in St. Paul's, Rome, Italy; Robert Sirota, composer and Victoria Sirota, librettist. Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones (1833-1898), a British Pre-Raphaelite artist, designed a cycle of mosaics based on Biblical stories which adorn the interior of St. Paul's. Special remarks by Marnie Dawson Carr, President, Board of Trustees, St. Paul's Within the Walls. A post-concert reception in the chapel and cocktails and dinner at the Field Club of Greenwich, adjacent to the chapel (advance reservation required).
